YOU GUYS…This post has been a long time coming. I’ve been meaning to do this post after my necklace one.
Per request I am talking about jewelry again… this time just about only about earrings. I am simple girl when it comes to jewelry, especially earrings. I like classic styles. I do not really branch out when it comes to color and style. A lot of the pom pom stuff is in, and that is not for me. I don’t hate it on other people, I just don’t think some trends are for me. I like sleek earrings. Earrings that I can wear from day to night when I change outfits. Earrings that I can pull my hair back and feel chic with a nude lip.
I wore a tee shirt, jeans and no shoes during this shoot because I wanted to show you guys how the simple statement of a gold earring can go a long way.
Starting with my Bagatiba Hoops:
I love love love this brand. I love love love these hoops. What do I love about it? That I don’t waste my money on multiple necklaces/earrings and get attached to one that is a silver/gold/green mix. I discovered this brand because I found a lot of celebrities wearing it. I mean A LOT. They are not super cheap, but they have last me more than TWO YEARS and I SWEAR BY THIS BRAND. They have been everywhere with me and no scuffs, discoloration or any tear to them. I recently bought another pair as backups during their black friday sale. I like thick gold hollow hoops if you don’t like the price wait for a sale weekend or look at my other options here:
Another pair that I love are these drop earrings. I found at Nordstrom. I love how they aren’t too heavy and aren’t over the top chandelier earrings. Again, I am going for classic here.
Lastly, below these Zara earrings I had to include in the shoot. They are fabulous. I love the old style of them… a pair you’ve seen on your mom or grandmother wearing in photos from the past. (“OLD HOLLYWOOD GLAM …” TRYRA VOICE) I’m on the hunt for a pair that has this same vintage feel, but is more hollow and smaller than these. I like these, but they are too heavy for my liking. With cheaper earrings like these you won’t get the hollow metal, they use the cheaper metal that is heavier and fades… hence why I try to avoid cheaper earrings. I CAN’T DO HEAVY EARRINGS!
