HEY, HI….AND… HELLO.
Here were are in the middle of the week. I am just getting back from California and I had a great 3 day stay there. I flew out of Santa Anna (the John Wayne Airport) and let me tell you I am only flying through the John Wayne airport and the Long Beach airport from here on forward. It was so easy and I am done with LAX.
I am going to try a new series: called, “Wednesday Write-Up” and I’m going to see how this goes. I want to try this because I do get some people asking for me about reviews on here and I thought maybe I can dedicate a section to that specifically.
Enough with introduction. So it’s time for me to swap out my old iPhone 8 Plus. I always resist change because it’s a hassle transferring things over (I have a lot of pictures/videos of my dog and that I need to transfer over and there are always random ex boyfriend pictures that I come across that haven’t been deleted bc I rarely clean out my photos). The timing with the release of the newer models of the iPhone could have not been more serendipitous for me. These newer models include the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
To be frank I was skeptical. The iPhone 8 Plus was a bust. It was oversized and it didn’t have any defining factors besides size to me that set it apart fro my other old iPhone 5.
I chose the iPhone 11 in the lavender (light pink and purple go with everything guys get something different than the colors you had!) It was the cheaper option for me and I am not one of those people who has to have the latest and greatest apple products when they come out. I am already looking to buy a professional camera this black Friday, so I don’t need a triple rear camera (both the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro max have the triple rear camera).
I wanted to give my phone a test drive before I wrote this write-up and let me tell you guys WHAT A RIDE IT HAS BEEN. This is the best camera I have seen on an iPhone period. I’m sure the 11 Pro and Pro Max do an even better job, but the quality of images I have gotten in “night mode” blew my socks off. With night mode you are able to take low light photos. Depending on how dark the scene is, your iPhone might take a night mode photo quickly, or it might extend the shutter time for several seconds. A number appears next to the night mode icon to indicate how long the shot will take. (If you are a camera person you know this is a big deal).
BELOW ARE TWO UNEDITED IMAGES I HAVE TAKEN IN NIGHT MODE ON MY IPHONE 11:

BELOW ARE THE SAME PHOTOS I TOOK OF MY DOG IN MY ROOM LAST NIGHT WITH NO LIGHT

A tad grainy… yes… but the only light in the photo is the back light from outside. THAT IS INSANE.
WHEN TO BUY:
My advice to you if you are looking to upgrade your phone is to wait until black Friday. If you have waited this long you might as well wait one more month for the additional savings you can score on your phone.
BELOW ARE SOME PRODUCTS THAT I OWN AND RECOMMEND USING IF YOU ARE PURCHASING AN IPHONE 11:
