HELLO YOU GUYS. Last day of 2018 and nothing to wear tonight for your NYE get together or outing?
Look no further. I have a couple of easy suggestions below and how to create the looks yourselves just in the knick of time.
Wear a winter white look with a touch of sparkle.
I love a nice crisp winter white look. Tonight is the perfect night to push the trend if you haven’t tried it already. Where can you get a look like this? Zara, H&M, Nordstrom, Forever 21, or Express. I want to clarify that I am wearing two separate tops. I want to take a moment and discuss my sheer turtleneck long sleeve. This is the first post I have on one of these sheer Danielle Guizio tops…. they are a staple in my wardrobe I have 3 colors (they are that good). I bought each of these on a promotion weekend for $30 each… she does great sales and is a badass 28-year-old entrepreneur that I support and have been following for awhile. Back to NYE outfits….
Wear all red.
Not afraid to make a chic statement? This look is for you. If you already wear all black or all neutral step out tonight in all red…(how many times can I say “all” in one sentence and not being annoying lol?) I feel like this color is readily available everywhere right now. This time last year I bought these red pants. I love to layer in the winter time. Growing up in California I never did “layer” so I am overcompensating for that lost time now. I am wearing two separate tops again.
I am wrapping 2018 with a grateful heart and thankful spirit for all of you guys. It is hard blogging and putting yourself out there and without your continuous support, messages, reads and comments this would not be possible. I read all of them when I am not having the best of days. Even the funny criticism (Bronson) helps me get through it because it makes me laugh. Huge shout out to my photographer Katie Pickens for shooting this yesterday and turning it around and giving me the edited photos THE SAME DAY. I’m really glad I started to blog again this year. My message to you is do that something that you’ve been wanting to get back into… something you enjoy to do…but don’t make time for. Life is too short. I don’t do resolutions… but for 2019 I want to get back into horseback riding. It is something I love and never make time for anymore. I think It’s a beautiful thing how I might grow up change locations, change friend groups, beliefs on different matters, music taste, professions, etc but still have the same little girl inside me that has that same love for horses.
